Working Capital Manager – Scandinavia (2-year contract)

About the role

The Working Capital Manager will lead the Scandinavia Shared Services Centre (SSC) finance team in Serbia, overseeing day-to-day operations of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Treasury. The role combines hands-on supervision with strategic analysis to optimise working capital and support business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching and support to AR and AP team members, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality results.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify working-capital optimisation opportunities aligned with commercial and operational needs.
• Report performance and insights to senior finance, commercial, procurement and leadership stakeholders.
• Supervise AR assistants, manage customer billing, payment allocation and resolve collection issues.
• Develop and improve credit control processes and procedures.
• Supervise AP assistants, process supplier invoices (COS & OPEX) for Denmark, Sweden and Norway, and ensure accurate coding and timely payments.
• Manage inter-company invoice netting, payment runs and support internal and external audits.
• Oversee treasury functions including inter-company positions, cash planning, monthly cash forecasts and KPI/dashboard reporting.
• Maintain internal controls, continuous-improvement initiatives and proper record-keeping for AP and AR.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience, including managing AP and AR functions in a comparable organisation.
• Proven ability to lead finance teams and drive process improvements.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in working-capital optimisation.
