Junior IT Specialist – IT Support Role

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Specialist to join our growing IT team. You will provide first‑line technical support, maintain hardware and software assets, and assist with network and security operations in a dynamic online gaming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support for hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals.
• Perform device setup, re‑imaging and deployment in a 24/7 operational setting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT incidents and service requests, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Support software installations, updates and patch management.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support tickets (JIRA) and system documentation.
• Participate in routine maintenance of networks, servers and cloud‑based services.
• Follow security policies and contribute to cybersecurity best practices.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication in English.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and prioritize tasks.

Required skills

• Linux operating systems.
• Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi.
• Monitoring tools.
• JIRA ticketing system.
• Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash or Python).
• Hardware troubleshooting, device imaging and deployment.
