Software Developer – Java & Node.js (Web Development)

About the role

JetBrains is looking for a Software Developer to join its Web Development team. You will own end‑to‑end services, from architecture and implementation to deployment and long‑term support, helping to build internal, company‑wide web applications and platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop internal web applications and services using Kotlin, Java and Node.js.
• Participate in solution architecture, selecting approaches, decomposing services and defining interactions.
• Build, deploy and maintain services in AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Develop tools for localization workflows and integrate third‑party systems.
• Improve reliability, scalability and observability of production systems.
• Collaborate with other teams to evolve shared infrastructure and internal platforms.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of backend web development experience.
• Strong ownership mindset and willingness to support production systems.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
