Back-End Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Back-End Engineer to build scalable and secure web services for our telecom platforms. You will work with modern technologies to handle millions of concurrent API calls in a distributed environment. The role focuses on delivering high‑performance backend solutions that meet strict reliability and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js, Lua, Scala and Typescript.
• Ensure services are secure, highly available, and able to scale to massive traffic volumes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement optimisations.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and operations teams to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to guarantee code quality.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical road‑maps.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proven ability to design systems that handle high concurrency and large data volumes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in telecom or other high‑throughput domains.
• Familiarity with agile development processes.
