HR Manager – Belgrade (Serbia)

About the role

We are seeking an HR Manager to lead all people‑operations for our Belgrade office. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will own the full employee lifecycle, ensure compliance with Serbian labour law and act as the main HR point of contact for local colleagues while collaborating with our international HR team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day people operations, contracts, documentation, HR systems and benefits for employees in Serbia.
• Ensure compliance with Serbian employment legislation and coordinate with external payroll, legal and immigration providers.
• Support managers and employees on HR topics, employee onboarding, off‑boarding and ongoing people matters.
• Assist foreign staff with visa, residence and work‑permit processes, including sponsorship and renewals.
• Organise offline events, meet‑ups and team activities in Belgrade and contribute to international employee‑engagement initiatives.
• Provide Serbia‑specific guidance to the recruitment team, advise on local hiring practices and participate in candidate interviews when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR or People roles, preferably within the IT/software sector.
• Proven experience as a standalone HR Manager or within a small HR team.
• Strong knowledge of Serbian employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience working in an international, multi‑country environment.

• Odoo (or other HRIS) – plus
