Junior IT Systems Administrator

About the role

PSI CRO, a global company founded in 1995 with more than 3,200 employees working on the frontline of medical science, is looking for a professional, qualified and enthusiastic Junior IT Systems Administrator. The position provides daily technical support to PSI staff and is based in Belgrade, Serbia.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose desktop computer systems and peripheral equipment problems under supervision
• Handle IT support operations: receive and track user requests, assign priority and responsible persons, resolve requests and notify users
• Install, configure, maintain and upgrade desktop systems and peripherals such as network cards, printers, modems, mice, add-in boards and copiers
• Manage desktop assets, including hardware and software inventories, licensing and systems decommissioning
• Document system problems and their resolutions
• Help provide basic IT training to PSI staff

Required profile

• College or university degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in IT
• Proficiency in English and Serbian, written and spoken
• Ability to plan, multitask and work in a dynamic team
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills

Required skills

• Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) training is a plus
• Basic knowledge of systems administration tools and processes
• Experience in systems and network administration is an advantage
