WPF Developer

About the role

Altium, part of Renesas Electronics, is looking for a WPF developer in Belgrade. The engineer develops and maintains desktop applications using WPF and Avalonia UI, works on architectural design and cross-platform migration, and integrates client-side functionality with Altium 365 and other internal APIs. The role sits within a global engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain desktop applications using WPF and Avalonia UI
• Contribute to architectural design and cross-platform migration initiatives
• Implement advanced UI components for EDA visualization and interaction
• Integrate client-side functionality with Altium 365 and other internal APIs
• Optimize performance, responsiveness and user experience
• Take part in code reviews, planning and technical discussions within a global engineering team

Required profile

• 4+ years of commercial experience with WPF
• Intermediate+ English for technical communication
• Nice to have: background in engineering or CAD/EDA software development

Required skills

• C# and .NET 6/8
• MVVM, dependency injection and data binding
• Async/await and XAML with custom controls
• Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar)
• Nice to have: Avalonia UI, SkiaSharp or HelixToolkit, MVU/MVVM patterns and UI testing
