Food and Beverage Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead the F&B department of a 5‑star luxury hotel, the only hotel on Zlatibor recommended by the Michelin Guide. The role combines strategic planning with day‑to‑day operational oversight to ensure exceptional service quality and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire food and beverage operation, coordinating restaurants and bars.
• Implement hotel procedures and service standards.
• Organise, plan and supervise the F&B team.
• Prepare the annual department budget and monitor performance against targets.
• Control costs, optimise operations and drive profitability.
• Monitor service quality and improve operational processes.
• Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and refrigeration in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Oversee billing, restaurant and bar performance, and sector results.
• Develop cost calculations, analyse pricing and approve food and beverage prices.
• Create and execute marketing activities for the F&B sector.
• Design and update menus, wine and bar lists, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other managers on gastronomic offerings.
• Introduce new standards, preparation technologies and service methods.
• Analyse results and prepare monthly reports for the General Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an F&B manager in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Excellent budgeting, cost‑control and financial analysis skills.
• Focus on delivering high‑quality guest service.
• Experience in menu development, pricing strategy and marketing initiatives.
