Indian Chef

About the role

Fisher HR is recruiting an Indian Chef for a full-time position in Belgrade. The chef prepares a wide range of cuisines to a high standard and works within a professional kitchen team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Indian, Continental, international and Arabic dishes with consistent taste, quality, presentation and portion control.
• Plan menus and help with food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Prepare sauces, gravies, marinades and spice blends according to recipes and standards.
• Operate cooking stations during service and develop new dishes and daily specials with kitchen management.
• Monitor food stock, check deliveries for freshness and quality, and coordinate with the purchasing team on ordering.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety, keeping workstations and equipment clean and organised.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage kitchen responsibilities independently.
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Continental, international and Arabic cuisine.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
