Legal Affairs Internship – UN Mission in Kosovo

About the role

The Office of Legal Affairs (OLA) of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo is offering a six‑month, full‑time internship for motivated students to gain practical experience in international and administrative law within a peace‑keeping environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on topics such as international law, administrative law, and private law using various resources.
• Assist in reviewing legal documents, instruments, and related material.
• Draft and prepare official and legal documents under supervision.
• Attend conferences and meetings, take detailed notes, and support meeting logistics.
• Perform other duties as assigned by OLA staff.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or having completed a graduate programme, or in the final year of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• Fluency in English, both oral and written; knowledge of other UN languages is a plus.
• Basic computer literacy with standard software applications.
